There are two types of Black coating umbrellas, a coloured one with a black coating on the inside and a black one with a coloured coating on the outside, personally I think the former is more aesthetically pleasing and the latter has better sun protection. Because the current rubber coating is glossy and reflective, it is best to apply it to the outside to reflect back the sunlight, while on the inside, it is best to have a dark matt colour in order to reduce the amount of light reflected off the ground and back onto your face via the umbrella.

In simple terms, those with Black coating have better sun protection, while those without vinyl are equivalent to an umbrella.

For umbrellas with a Black coating, whether the coating is on the outside or inside, rain or simulated acid rain has little or no effect on the sun protection, so rain and drizzle are no problem. For umbrellas without a Black coating, the sun protection is slightly reduced (by about 1%), so please choose carefully. After an overnight soaking of 18 hours, the sun protection of all umbrellas is slightly reduced, but by about 1%, which has little effect and can be dried and stored after the rain.
