The Green Source editor has finished talking about the types of umbrellas and then the difference between a sunshade and an umbrella
Differences.
1, the difference between umbrellas and sunshades is not only in function, but also in the process of sunshades and umbrellas. Umbrellas have silver glue on the inside of the fabric, sunshades mainly have an anti-UV coating on the fabric or the fabric itself has an anti-UV effect on the process.
Another difference between umbrellas and sunshades is that the main purpose of a sunshade is to protect our skin from the sun and to shield it from UV rays. The umbrella has two main functions: sun and rain protection. However, it is less effective than a sunshade in terms of sun protection. It is therefore advisable to choose a sunshade for rainy areas and a sunshade for areas with high UV rays.
Finally, I'd like to talk to you about the custom umbrella process
Step 1: Cutting
Cutting is the process of cutting a roll of umbrella fabric into a long strip with a young body. This process can be done with a cutting machine or by a worker with a blade.
Step 2: Small cut
The small cut is where the long strips of fabric are cut into triangular pieces to form the umbrella. The worker first makes a triangular wooden frame out of strips of wood, places the frame on the umbrella fabric and then carefully cuts out the pieces with a razor blade, this is done entirely by hand and no machinery is used.
Step 3: Umbrella printing
There are several methods of printing used on umbrellas, of which heat transfer and screen printing are the most common. Here is an example of screen printing. A stencil is created using a tanning machine, which is then fixed to a four-square wooden frame, into which paint is poured. This process can be done mechanically or manually. Screen printing is characterised by sharp and clear colours and is ideal for printing solid colour patterns or company logos.
Step 4: Closing the piece
Once the screen printing is complete, the triangular pieces can be sewn together with a clothes trolley to make the umbrella cover. The number of pieces varies from 6 to 24 for different types of umbrellas. It is extremely important that the needle on the trolley is young and that there are enough stitches, otherwise there will be water seepage when it rains.
Step 5: Attaching the beads
Once the umbrella is finished, the beads are attached to each corner using a special machine. The beads are an important part of the umbrella and are used to attach the umbrella to the bone. They are made of plastic or iron and are available in a variety of shapes.
Step 6: Binding
This is the process of attaching the umbrella face to the umbrella bone. The worker must attach the umbrella face to the umbrella bone by hand, stitch by stitch, without using any machine.
Step 7: Attaching the handle
As the name suggests, this is the process of attaching the handle to the shaft. As you can see above, the iron shaft is heated by fire and the plastic handle is attached.
Step 8: Product testing
Each umbrella is sent to the quality control department for testing before it leaves the factory. The workers have a set procedure for testing each umbrella, such as whether the switch is smooth, whether there are no stains, whether the printing is perfect, etc. This is a manual process.
Step 9: Product packaging
The umbrellas pass the quality test and are sent to the packaging department, where they are packed in cardboard boxes of different sizes, each with its own transparent bag.
