Heshan Taoyuan Town

In recent years, it has developed rapidly. Taking the development of the tent industry as an opportunity, it won the honorary title of "China's Famous Umbrella Town" in 2012. At present, there are more than 400 umbrella and tent companies in Taoyuan Town, with a local output value of 3.933.6 billion, of which the output value of Zhangfeng accounts for more than 60%.

Jinjiang Dongshi Town

The umbrella manufacturing industry chain is more complete, the umbrella manufacturing raw and auxiliary material factories are more mature, and the production products are relatively high-end, mainly for export. In October 2003, Dongshi Town was awarded the honorary title of "China Umbrella City" by China National Light Industry Council and China Daily-use Sundry Goods Industry Association. There are currently more than 300 umbrella manufacturers, and the local umbrella production value reaches 10.23 billion yuan. .

Songxia Town, Shangyu

It was named "China Umbrella City" by the China National Light Industry Council in November 2002. The number of umbrella manufacturers ranks first in the country, with more than 1,500, but only 8 have a sales scale of over 100 million. The production of advertising umbrellas is more prominent, and the proportion of enterprises relying on e-commerce to develop the domestic market has become more and more obvious. The total output value of the umbrella industry in the town has reached 10.5 billion yuan.

Tong'an District, Xiamen

There are more than 200 umbrella enterprises of various types and 19 enterprises above designated size, with a total output value of more than 2 billion. Most of the enterprises are export-oriented enterprises, and more than 75% of the umbrella products are exported for export. The prototype of the fashion umbrella export base has already appeared, and the "China Fashion Umbrella Export Base" is in the process of application.

Judging from the export data in recent years, the export value of umbrellas has been decreasing year by year, with a year-on-year decrease of about 10%, which is far higher than the decline in the national light industrial products. However, judging from the total output value of umbrellas in my country, there have been basically no major changes in recent years, and the expansion of the domestic consumption market has offset the decline in exports. From a side point of view, as my country is the world's largest consumer country, umbrella companies should target the domestic market on the premise of foreign trade. By increasing varieties, improving quality, and creating brands, to better meet the needs of consumption upgrades, and to open up the domestic market will be the main direction for the next development of umbrella companies.
